We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Renewal Support Executive to manage policy renewals, follow up with customers, resolve renewal-related queries, and ensure high retention rates. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a good understanding of insurance processes. This role plays a vital part in maintaining long-term relationships with clients and supporting the overall growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Renewal Coordination
Contact customers ahead of policy expiry to remind them of renewal deadlines.
Provide premium details, updated plan options, and renewal benefits.
Follow up through calls, emails, and WhatsApp to ensure timely renewals.
Track upcoming renewals and update status in CRM systems.
2. Customer Consultation
Explain policy terms, renewal benefits, and changes in coverage (if any).
Assist customers in comparing different renewal options or add-on covers.
Offer guidance on upgrading or modifying plans based on customer needs.
3. Documentation & Processing
Coordinate with underwriting and operations teams for renewal issuance.
Collect necessary documents (if required) such as updated KYC or medical reports.
Ensure accuracy in policy renewal documentation and premium payments.
Share renewal receipts, updated policy documents, and ID cards with customers.
4. Retention & Relationship Building
Build strong relationships with existing customers to improve retention rates.
Address concerns or objections related to premium changes or coverage.
Resolve customer issues quickly to prevent policy lapses.
Encourage customers to renew policies before the grace period ends.
5. Follow-Up & Reporting
Maintain renewal logs, follow-up lists, and renewal success reports.
Analyze reasons for non-renewals and share insights with management.
Coordinate with claims, sales, and customer support teams for customer queries.
Ensure smooth resolution of issues affecting policy renewal decisions.

Ability to manage time, priorities, and CRM tasks effectively

Basic knowledge of MS Office, CRM, and communication tools

Qualifications
Minimum: 12th pass; Graduation preferred
Experience in insurance renewals, sales, customer support, or BFSI is an advantage
